In Minecraft, spawn protection prevents players from causing damage or altering the immediate area around the world spawn point. The spawn point is where players initially appear in the world when they join the game or after they die without setting a specific respawn point. By default, the spawn protection area extends 16 blocks in each direction from the world spawn point set from the World Border.
Note: Spawn protection requires one OP player on the server. Learn how to give OP permissions here.
