The Entity Broadcast Range Percentage on a Minecraft server controls the distance at which a server sends data about mobs, items, and objects to a player's client. Decreasing this value improves server performance and reduces bandwidth consumption by disabling data tracking for far-away entities. Conversely, dropping the percentage too drastically can ruin immersion and hinder gameplay, as creatures and items will suddenly pop into view at close range.
Step 1. Log in to the MelonCube Games panel.
Step 2. Stop the server.
Step 3. Under the Config Files tab, choose Server Properties.
Step 4. From the Entity Broadcast Range Percentage field, input the preferred percentage.
Note: Entering a value lower than
60will affect the gameplay experience.
Step 5. Start the server.
