Purpur and Pufferfish are two popular, high-performance alternatives to standard Minecraft server software. Pufferfish is a Paper fork specifically optimized for large server stability and performance. Purpur includes all of Pufferfish's optimizations and builds on them by adding hundreds of unique, fun, highly configurable gameplay features. Both offer a more customizable and feature-rich environment than the standard server.
Note: Converting a Vanilla server to Purpur or Pufferfish can change the save location for The Nether and The End. Learn how to manage DIM saves here.
