Building custom modpacks in Prism Launcher enables the creation of tailored Minecraft experiences. Since the application relies on separate instances, experimental mods and untested file combinations are safely isolated from existing save data. This streamlines the management of resource packs, visual shaders, and unique settings for each build.
Step 1. Launch Prism Launcher.
Step 2. Click Add Instance.
Step 3. Go to the Custom tab.
Step 4. Select a Minecraft version.
Step 5. Choose a Mod Loader.
Step 6. Name the pack and click OK.
Step 7. Wait for the game files to finish installing.
Step 8. Choose the modpack and click Edit.
Step 9. Go to the Mods tab.
Step 10. Hit Download Mods.
Step 11. Mark the desired mods and click Review and confirm.
Step 12. Confirm the mods selection and press OK.
Step 13. When finished, click Launch.
